Delft 1.0 (The Production Release)
- - --------------------------------------------------

After the succes of Delft 0.999 beta 1265 there will be another AFPmeet
in the Netherlands (the fifth, hence NL 4.0), being Delft 1.0 - The
Production Release.

The date of this event (and an event it is promising to be) will be
sunday June the 22nd ("A sunday?" Yes, a sunday)

We'll start the meet on the world famous (well, at least Delft-famous)
"Beestenmarkt", where, if the sun will cooperate, we can enjoy the
pleasures of drinking outside, watching other people, talking to each
other and generally making sure that Delft won't forget us.

In the (hopefully unlikely) event that the Beestenmarkt is not such a
good idea (because of rain or other reasons) we will meet in cafe
"Verderop", *not* located at the beestenmarkt but closer to the station,
at Westvest 9.

We'll meet somewhere between 17.00 and 18.30, and after that go find us
something to eat (and no, there still is no Burger Thing in Delft).
After that we'll head to wherever we want to go for more drinks, talks,
jokes, chocolate-covered thingies and general AFPmerriment.

Feel free to bring your SO, your pet-hamsters or your turtle,
everybody's welcome.

I've got an attic's worth of crash space available, although some people
already have claims to part of that. Email me if you're interested.

A map of the centre of Delft can be found at
http://www.dsdelft.nl/toerisme, under the link 'kaart'. The Beestenmarkt
is located right and somewhat up from the station (the numbers 65, 31
and 19 are located at the Beestenmarkt), and the Westvest is just right
from the station ("Verderop" is located just next to the first 'e' in
"Westvest")

See you in Delft,

Jos Dingjan
