Now if _ONLY_ I was going to still be in the country when they finally screen all the episodes of both Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters when they are screen on channel 4. If nothing else, I finally got to get a book signed (I've missed all of Terry's visits to Australia, so was glad of the oportunity to see him here). Thanks to the bofhs here who let it be known that this event was on the morning after the asr meet, and hi to the others I met...it was nice to put faces to some of the names I've become familiar with through long time lurking around here....(eeep I've posted now, does this mean I can no longer lurk in silence?) Anyway, that's me for now....I may post again one day Beck -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ bugsy@bpfh.net bugsy@nether.net allenr@topaz.cqu.edu.au ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From: Martyn Clapham <martyn@mclapham.demon.co.uk> Newsgroups: alt.fan.pratchett Subject: *F* Soul Music meet report ( mk. 1) Date: Sun, 9 Feb 1997 22:14:14 +0000 Message-ID: <4y13oBA2wk$yEwN3@mclapham.demon.co.uk> Having finally got to a phone line, he are my impressions of the meet at the NFT today. I arrived just before the film started due to transport problems. The first thing I spotted was a stuffed dragon, is this why Mr Fox and Mr Raccoon were not present? The theatre was fairly well filled, and everyone seemed to enjoy the show. Afterwards Pterry and others appeared for a Q&A session, hopefully someone has a fuller record of this. One comment of Pterrys was something like 'With all these people reading the novels I feel like a Roman emperor, if they like it I'm fine, if not it's lions at dawn' I had to leave early so can someone else fill in what happed after the screening.
