From: Aquarion <aquarion@aquarionics.com> Newsgroups: alt.fan.pratchett.announce,alt.fan.pratchett,alt.books.pratchett Subject: [ANNOUNCE][F] Kentmeet:The search for Stuff/MSM Premeet Date: Fri, 10 Aug 2001 03:25:34 +0000 (UTC) Message-ID: <100801062506afpa@crucible.athame.co.uk> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- The Place: The Fictional Town of Paddock Wood, Kent, England. The Time: 25th/26th August 2001 The Reason: My parents are on holiday, and I thought that to celebrate my first year on AFP, I should do something. More the first than the second, actually. The Plan: Plan? We have to *plan* these things? Gosh. The random and subject-to-people plan is to meet at a nearby town for the purposes of food and drink and conversation, and then see what evolves. Crash space is available at my place, although it's floors and/or tents in back garden style :-) And then, on the 26th, anyone left can wander up to London for the MSM Meet, which I hadn't noticed when I planned this... More Place Details: The town is here: http://getamap.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/getamap.asp?gd=1&lev=2&x1=561650&y1=141336&x2=572900&y2=148286&ca=2&st=2&ox=567275&oy=144811&og=1&os=TN126HT The town where the food will be is probably Tunbridge Wells. Both are easily accessible from London Bridge station, you just catch a train going directly there :-) Contact: Is me, Obviously.
