From: "Mark Datko" <mdatko@btinternet.com> Newsgroups: alt.fan.pratchett.announce,alt.fan.pratchett,alt.books.pratchett Subject: [F] [ANNOUNCE] Meet-in-a-Queue : Sheffield signing Nov 14 Date: Tue, 30 Oct 2001 17:18:27 +0000 (UTC) Message-ID: <301001191754afpa@crucible.athame.co.uk> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Since a number of afpers and #afpers look as though they will be at the Sheffield signing, I thought I put out a formal announce so others in the area who would like to meet up can do so. The signing itself is at 4:30 : but hopefully I shall be in the queue from around 3:30 onwards and wearing something appropriate to the occasion. After the signing we'll find somewhere in the immediate vicinity for light refreshment. I'll investigate beforehand and post details to respondants to accommodate late comers. So the signing details : W H Smiths (upstairs : and I expect they *won't* allow queuing on the escalator ;-) ) Fargate SHEFFIELD S1 2HE Sheffield has good transport links and the signing venue is a short walk from both the railway station and bus station Feel free to feed the postcode into the usual map sites, but the easiest way to find Smiths in Sheffield is to find the town hall with its peace gardens and fountains alongside. Stand in front of the town hall (the west side) look north and you should see the branch of Dixons, Smith's is in the row of shops to the right of Dixons. I'd be happy to meet folks at either of the stations if time permits. Please reply to me by e-mail so I know who to look out for. hippo (Mark Datko) - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iQBVAwUBO97gxlEnYeztdy65AQERLAH+PmwoXSzH8kMHLdk/OShn3+moU7YIfXgd uUXBNaOIPFD/WNvC074gcY0yyjnkDGt/hcOqKtxvlfjiiukwkFo1/A== =XVXA -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Submissions for alt.fan.pratchett.announce to: afpa-mod@lspace.org All submissions are PGP signed.
