It's a long time since I did one of these, but here goes.

This is to announce a meet type thing in Sheffield on or around April
the 6th.  Whose fault? Well Tamara's mainly cos she's here for a visit
so we thought she might like to meet a few of the locals.  But it's
also the week before my birthday, so I want in on it and it's the
anniversary of Gaspode and Di first meeting at the Kelham Island meet
(well that was around my birthday too so it's also a few days early).

Anyway I hear you ask, what is it to be?  Well there will prolly be a
group of people storming the portals of Meadowhall from about
lunchtime, spending time earning sore feet in the pursuit of goods and
chattels. People can meet there (it's one train station away or one
junction on the M1 - J34 from the rest of the stuff) they have lockers
for bags etc.

Then we thought an evening in a nice cosy real ale pub, that also does
yummy food, entertained by the usual afptype things, chocolate,
cuddlies, innuendo etc.  This is the Commercial on Station Road in
Chapeltown, Sheffield. (5 mins walk from station or 5 mins drive from
motorway - M1 J35.)

Sunday will prolly be spent out at one of the local 'interesting'
places.  I have yet to find out which has the best thing on and will
post as soon as I know for definite.

Other than that, crash space is available, but beds are scarce though
floor space for those with sleeping bags can be booked, and other kind
locals may offer space too (if you are one of these mad people, give
me a shout :-)).
