Chippenham Folk Festival Annual Stick & Bucket Competition

Now heading for it's 11th year Chippenham Folk Festival holds the annual Stick & Bucket Competition on the Sunday of every UK Spring Bank Holiday weekend at around 6pm.

The event initially stemmed from the traditional dance of the Ramptop's but has varied slightly over the years.

The Rules

Each dance must contain at least one stick & one bucket.
The term 'dance' is interpreted very 'loosely
Competitors are marked on style, contents, interpretation & miscellaneous other factors (also known as "bribes")
