The 'Net
TTTO The Rose

Some say the 'net, it is a danger
That lets terrorism breed
Some say it's some place even stranger
Where psycho-vampires feed
Some say the 'net, it's an addiction
An endless, aching need
I say it's simply what you find there
And that is weird indeed...

You could choose to chat in real time
With IRC or ICQ
And you could take a stroll round usenet
Maybe read a post or two
Or for the timid there is e-mail
To keep them up to date
And last, the web where wit and wisdom
Sit there alongside rage and hate

And if the night becomes too lonely
And your day has been too bad
But it seems the 'net is only
For the geeky and the sad
Just you turn on your computer
And see what you can get
From an hour or two of browsing
Round the wonders of the 'net
